Visit the TAEC exhibits and learn about the amazing ethnic diversity of Laos. You will see artefacts and information from the Akha, Hmong, Yao, Tai Lue, Lanten, Tai Dam and Khmu. The Centre is open from 9am to 6pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Admission is 20,000k.

Book a guided tour - one of the Directors of the Centre, either Tara or Thongkhoun, will lead you through the exhibits, explaining the background of the artefacts and the research behind the Centre.

Visit the Museum Shop to buy handicrafts directly from ethnic communities, priced fairly for the producer and consumer.

Sip a coffee or have a sandwich in Le Patio Café, while flipping through one of the library books on ethnology, Laos, and culture.

Book a seminar on "Ethnic Minority Cultural Preservation", "Yao and Lanten Taoist Traditions" or "Mien Embroidery Motifs" for an in-depth look at ethnic cultures, and the opportunity to see and touch artefacts from the TAEC collection that are not on exhibit.
