what you can experience

Tours from as little as one day to as long as two weeks can be arranged to these destinations:

  • Tmatboey, an isolated village located in Kulen Promtep Wildlife Sanctuary in the Northern Plains of Cambodia, supporting two Critically Endangered birds: the Giant and White-shouldered Ibises. This area contains a rich eco-system of open woodlands, seasonally inundated grasslands, deciduous dipterocarp forest and scattered wetlands.
  • Ang Trapeang Thmor Sarus Crane Reserve, a reservoir harbouring a unique wetland with grassland, dipterocarp forests and paddy fields. See over 300 Sarus Crane and 200 other bird species plus the Endangered Eld’s Deer. There’s also a women’s silk weaving operation.
  • Florican Grassland Sites, the seasonally flooded grasslands of Kompong Thom and Siem Reap and designated as Integrated Farming and Biodiversity Areas, harbour the largest known population of Bengal Florican in Cambodia and possibly the world.
  • View Critically Endangered White-rumped, Slender-billed and Red-headed Vultures up close as they dine at a “Vulture Restaurant” prepared especially for them. Such ‘restaurants’ help to prevent their further extinction by providing a reliable monthly food source.
