Rachana Handicrafts is a local, non-profit organization in Battambang involved in the production and marketing of handicrafts. With little opportunity to gain an education or skills to improve their lives, women and the disabled often find themselves in vulnerable situations.

what we do

 

In response to their needs - to develop the ability to support themselves and their families - we have developed a number of income generating activities, making use of handicrafts as a means to achieve this goal.

We have a shop in front of the War Memorial Cemetery, that displays products made by our trained producers, as well as a workshop where they create the crafts. We also identify market outlets to sell their products and help to promote the sale of their crafts.
