who we are
Developing tourism through high-quality training
The Paul Dubrule School of Hotel and Tourism provides young Cambodians with high-quality hospitality training that meets both international standards and the needs of local employers in the hotel, restaurant and tourism industry. Through a related non-government organisation, we offer scholarships to underprivileged young Cambodians, giving them the training they need to join the hospitality industry.
what we do
Our students study theory as well as practical skills. To give them a ‘hands-on’ experience, our facility combines classrooms with the typical elements of a hotel. In addition to eight classrooms, we have four hotel rooms, a front office, a lobby, a restaurant, a kitchen, a bakery and a bar. Our students also go through on-the-job training in local hotels, restaurants and with tour operators.
Our hotel and tourism training school was developed from the personal initiative of Paul Dubrule, co-founder of the Accor Hotel Group. He also founded the NGO Formation et Progrès Cambodge which manages the scholarship program. Paul Dubrule set up the training school and scholarship program to ensure that young Cambodians have the opportunity to develop their skills and have access to a new world of opportunities.
We invite individuals, groups or corporate organizations to sponsor students. Contact us for more information about how to contribute. We provide sponsors with progress reports on the students they help along with their eventual placement within the tourism industry.
