- Visit the Lao Mountain Coffee roasting centre in Vientiane and see how coffee is roasted and blended and arrange a professional coffee cupping session. You can also learn the story of Lao coffee from the original French plantings to Fair Trade Co-op's.
- Visit the JCFC in Paksong in the South. Depending on the season, you can help harvest and process the coffee cherries (Oct-Feb), participate in hulling and grading the beans (Jan- Mar), share a meal with the farmers and trek through the jungle shaded coffee plantations to remote waterfalls.
