Above our shop we have a beautiful tea lounge and an art room. Every night at 7pm we show non-mainstream movies in the tea room, with snacks, cold drinks, Lao coffee and more than 70 different teas. A children's corner is free to use for Lao children and people traveling with young ones. A weekly schedule is available from our shop.
To reduce the use of plastic, we also offer free water bottle refills, use bamboo straws and do not give plastic bags. L'Etranger, Books & Tea is located in Ban Aphay, at the foot of Mount Phousi next to Hive Bar. Opening hours are 7am-10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-10 pm on Sunday.
