Baguette&Chocolat provides disadvantaged and disabled youth with tourism and hospitality training. We have a beautiful Baguette&Chocolat restaurant in Hanoi on the spacious and lush grounds of the Museum of Ethnology as well as a Baguette&Chocolat charming café and mini hotel in the highlands of Sapa in northern Vietnam.
what we do
Baguette&Chocolat Hanoi is a practicing place to help the students improve their vocational skills after a six-month training at the Hoa Sua training center. It also create a means of testing training quality through the evaluation by customers, introduce it to the world of work and create financial resources towards covering training costs and maintaining our charity work.
Baguette&Chocolat Sapa, set up in 2002 with Canadian NGO Samaritan's Purse, is a special project aiming to equip young ethnic minority people and the students after 2 years of study with the necessary skills that will allow them to return to their hometown to work the tourism industry after graduation.
Perched at the top of the town, the hotel/café boasts tasteful decor and charming rattan furniture. Bright and cheery with a terrace and cosy fireplace, there is a selection of delicious sweet and savoury pastries, salads, quiches and Vietnamese dishes prepared by our students. The mini-hotel consists of 4 well-equipped double bedrooms, charmingly decorated and possessing a beautiful view. Rooms can be reserved by fax, telephone or email.
