Angkor Center for Conservation of Biodiversity

Wildlife Conservation & Environmental Education

The ACCB is a not-for-profit wildlife rescue and nature conservation centre established in 2003. It is located at the historical site of Kbal Spean, 12km north of Banteay Srey.

what we do

Our aims are the rehabilitation of confiscated and mainly globally threatened wildlife, the conservation breeding of selected species and field research, in combination with environmental education and capacity building of local communities to promote wildlife conservation and the sustainable use of natural resources.

The ACCB also has a comprehensive beekeeping program training honey-hunters in appropriate technologies and sustainable honey-harvesting of native Cambodian bee species. We also assist with quality control and the marketing of their products.
