Welcome to Khammouane

Khammouane Province used to be mostly a thoroughfare for travellers passing between Thailand and Vietnam, or heading north and south to more popular destinations. The provincial capital, Thakek, is a sleepy little town but it does hold a degree of rustic charm.  However the province holds a lot more to captivate the travellers looking for a little bit more.
